The people of Vietnam, as a I experienced it, are very hospitable and friendly. They also appear to be very hard working (especially the women!) with a strong sense of pride in what they do.

Vietnam's population has a huge diversity of ethnic groups across its population of almost 100 million and there are also strong regional differences between the north, centre and south, of which I can only say I scratched part of the surface.

Photographically, there's obviously no shortage of potential in Vietnam for those seeking to capture people in their various daily activities. The rich colours of the traditional outfits are particularly good.

The people often make a place, and I have only fond memories of my interactions with the locals in Vietnam. Photos below.
